Drone Delivery Canada successfully completes first test flight in United States
Drone Delivery Canada ‘DDC or the Company’ , is pleased to report the Company completed a series of successful test flights during the week of March 5th, 2018 in the United States of America at the Griffiss International Airport located in Rome, New York.

American company HorseFly Truck launches Drone Package Delivery System
Workhorse Group Inc., an American technology company focused on providing sustainable and cost-effective solutions to the commercial electric transportation sector, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a patent, number 9,915,956, for the HorseFly Truck Launched Drone Package Delivery System.
The HorseFly UAV Delivery System is a custom-built, high efficiency delivery UAV that is fully integrated with the Workhorse line of electric/hybrid delivery trucks. The HorseFly system conforms to FAA guidelines for UAV operation in the U.S. Most notably, being fully integrated with delivery trucks, the system is designed such that a driver or driver’s assistant can maintain line-of-sight operation of the UAV delivery process. The Unmanned Cargo Aircraft conference is underway at the Global Transpark in Kinston this week.
This is the first time the international conference has been held in the U.S.Researchers and companies from all over the world were in attendance to discuss the latest developments and trends in the industry. After lagging behind other countries for years, commercial drones in the U.S. are expected to begin limited package deliveries within months, according to federal regulators and industry officials.
The momentum partly stems from stepped-up White House pressure, prompting closer cooperation between the government and companies such as Amazon.com Inc. seeking authorizations for such fledgling businesses. The upshot, according to these officials, is newfound confidence by both sides that domestic package-delivery services finally appear on the verge of taking off. Utility drone built by Singular Aircraft to start US flight tests
A company in Wyoming has secured FAA approval to start flight tests with a large twin-engine drone, the Flyox Mark II, built by Singular Aircraft of Barcelona, Spain. The amphibious drone has a 35-foot wingspan and can carry up to 4,000 pounds of water for dropping on forest fires. Dorado drones – next “UBER” on blockchain for on-demand deliveries
The next-generation on-demand delivery company Dorado, has revealed that it plans to raise $69M via its ICO. Dorado has already ‘pre-heated the oven” by raising $4M from institutional investors, including the ICO-focused Goldfish Fund, and it plans to offer the remaining allocation to the general public. There’s likely to be a huge amount of interest given how mature Dorado is in comparison to the majority of companies that hold ICO’s. Dorado, a fork of Foodout, which is based in Europe, was founded in 2014 and is already a leader in 6 countries, delivering 4 million orders, to 1 million active users, with +50M in sales.
